We are seeking a Nurse (Administrative Officer II grade), on a temporary part-time basis, who will provide and administer a comprehensive health and welfare service for students, which incorporates treatment and preventative elements as part of that service. The Nurse will also take a leading role in health promotion activities within the University.
Applicants should note that at certain critical periods, there will be a requirement to work outside normal office hours, including weekends (during student examination sessions in May, August, January). It is not normally possible to take significant annual leave during the academic term or during examination sessions. A minimum level of Nursing cover must be provided at all times in the Health Centre.
Administrative Officer Grade II Salary Scale: €36,953 - €53,175 p.a. (9 points)
Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.
*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above scale.
